Hi, my name is Emily. At the time I conducted this science project I was 13 years old. It was a good choice of topics for me personally because, I care about the environment very much.
I presented my project to judges at the regional Mid-Columbia Science Fair on March 13, 2003. I got an Award of Distinction for scientific thought.
My Family
I have 4 members in my family. My mom, my dad, my sister and me. I also have 1 dog and 3 cats. My mom's name is Fran she is 41, my dad's name is Brian he is 38, and my sister's name is Samantha she is 11. My parents work together at a car lot that my dad owns. My sister enjoys hanging out with her friends, dancing for a performance team, playing basketball, softball, and many other things. My dog's name is Tiffy, 13, my oldest cat's name is Pooky, 17, the second oldest cat is Skittles, 9, and our newest cat is Frady, 5, (because it won't let anyone come close to it). Frady came with our house when we moved three years ago. Last year we did tons of excavation to our house. We have a great time going on vacations with each other and with another family. Every Sunday is our family day when we all spend time together doing whatever.
My Hobbies and Interests
I am very lucky that I can do so many extra activities. The different hobbies that I have are basketball, volleyball, skiing, fast pitch, golf, and swimming. I love school, hanging out and talking to my friends especially Rachel. On the weekends I like to have friends over to swim and go to the movies, and go on vacations with my family, and another families too.
My Plans for the Future
My plans for the future are to complete 1 year of college in my senior year of high school and end high school with a 4.0 average. Then I hope to make it into the University of Washington for the remaining three years. During that time I would like to play volleyball or basketball in college. After that I want to get into the U.W. dentistry school for four years. Soon after that I would like to take over another dentist's practice. Later I would like to get married, have three boys or three girls, and 2 dogs.
