Hi, my name is Whitney. At the time I conducted this science project I was 12 years old. It was a good choice of topics for me personally because, I am interested in health related issues and hope to be a doctor someday. At Mid Columbia Regional Science and Engineering Fair, my project won an honorable mention and an award for "Thoroughness". At the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair, my project won a third place.
 

My hobbies consist of playing volleyball and basketball. I love to watch my friends play sports to. I especially like to watch the basketball and baseball games. I collect lighthouses and I love anything that is associated with the ocean. I love to take vacations with my family. For the past few years, we have taken our summer vacations at the beach, Ocean Shores, WA to be exact.

When I grow older, I want to go either to Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Duke, or University of Washington. I plan on going to medical school and studying to be a cardiovascular surgeon. I want to have a family of my own consisting of my husband and two kids. I want to have one girl and one boy. I want to own a huge house on the beach with an ocean view from each room, and I also want to own my own yacht and go sailing to occupy a lot of my time.
