McKenzie H.

2001

Hi, my name is McKenzie. At the time I conducted this science project I was eleven years old. Human memory was a good choice of topics for me personally because, I would like to be a Pediatric Cardiologist when I grow up.  At the Mid Columbia Regional Science Fair, my project earned an Award of Distinction for Thoroughness.  At the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair in Bremerton, Washington my project received a third place award.

My Family
My family and I live with my older sister, Caitlin, my younger brother, Cameron, and my parents, Susie and Lee (step dad).  We live in a nice house in Selah, WA.  My sister is also doing a science project.  Caitlin and I just made the school soccer team and we are very happy about that.  My brother also just started playing soccer and he is happy about it.

My Hobbies and Interests
My hobbies are playing Soccer(!), playing Volleyball and shopping.  I love the sports Soccer and Volleyball.  I also love to dance.  I do Tap, Ballet, and Jazz.  Shopping is one of my favorite hobbies.  I also like to go hunting and to eat at Red Lobster.  I like to collect stuffed animals, especially bears.

My Plans for the Future
My plans for the future are to go to the University of Washington (Home of the Huskies).  I would like to become a Pediatric Cardiologist.  After I graduate I would like to become a missionary and go to Kenya.  I would like to live there for a year.  If I do not get the job at Children's Hospital in Seattle then I would like to go to Hawaii, open a doctor's office and stay for the rest of my life.  I would like to adopt children from Korea and then spend the rest of my life raising them.
