Hello!  My name is Aly.  I am a seventh grade student at Selah Intermediate School.  I chose to do my project on chemicals in water because I was concerned about what people were doing to the water in our area.

I was born in Bellingham, Washington in 1987.  My two favorite things in the entire world are singing and soccer. I have played soccer for 9 years.  I am in a touring singing group known as the Melody Lane Singers.  I have been in MLS for 7 years and love to sing.  I am also involved in ballet, tennis, volleyball, and my 7th year of piano.  My family consists of my mom, dad, me, and my brother.  My dad has two sisters and two brothers.  My mom has six sisters and one brother.  All together I have 11 cousins.  Like most teenage girls, I enjoy shopping and talking on the phone.  Unlike most seventh grade girls I know, I love to fish.

When I am an adult, I hope to be a professional singer or soccer player.
