Jones Soda

Introduction

Jones Soda is all-natural soda pop. They started in Canada in 1996. Most of the Jones Soda flavors are based on average or exotic flavors of foods or other beverages. Some flavors like Green Apple or Cream Soda are used by many companies, including Jones Soda. Since 1996, the Jones Soda Company has made quality soda pop that is good for you too.

The Company
  
Jones Soda is an all-natural soda company that started in 1996. First it started in Canada but then they moved the company to Seattle. The person who started the wonderful and exciting world Company is Peter Van Stolk. He started the Jones Soda. Ever since then the company has been coming up with cool and exotic flavors. In 2007, Peter Van Stolk stepped down leaving the Jones Soda Company without a president or CEO. The company is still working as hard as they were when Peter Van Stolk ran the Company.

All Natural Products

Jones Soda is an all-natural soda. The all natural products in Jones Soda are pure cane sugar, fruit peels, fruit juice, low calorie sweeteners, and acids. Jones Soda went all natural in the year of 2007. Ever since then they have been making delicious soda that is good for people. It’s a good thing that there is some soda that is healthy for you too.

Jonessoda.com is a website packed with all the information you need to know. Jones Soda has plenty of exciting links that you can click to have another adventure of Jones Soda such as the Suggest a flavor link. Suggesting a flavor is a fun and cool way to know what kind of flavors Jones Soda drinkers want to have. My Jones photos is a way to upload special Jones Soda related photos such as Seahawk game photos, or photos for the labels on the bottles. Other links like retired flavors are all on the Jones Soda site so check it out.


Future

Jones Soda is a very successful company growing with new and exotic flavors. It is expensive in most places, but other places you are fortunate to find Jones Soda for less. With gas prices rising now, the soda will jump to a very high price.  Let’s hope that selling stores such as Albertsons or Safeway keep their low affordable prices.

Conclusion

Interview summary

I interviewed Amanda Drummond. I interviewed Amanda Drummond on January 28th 2008 at 2:00 in my homeroom. Amanda Drummond is a marketing intern she helps organize and do stuff for any people in the company really. Amanda Drummond has been involved with Jones Soda for seven months. Amanda helped me with lots of my information on Jones Soda. I’m very grateful for Amanda Drummond for letting me interview her.

The Products I Created

I created a buzzer board, and a skit. My buzzer board has a big soda bottle in the middle and a blue background and green background cards for the questions and answers. Try to match up the questions and answers on the buzzer board. I created my buzzer board by typing questions and answers. I also punched holes for my tin foil to make it buzz.  My skit is called “A Day at The Beach”. The skit includes three girls named Katie, Cailin and Jennifer. The three girls get thirsty for some good and healthy soda. What mystery soda is in Katie’s cooler? Lets hope it quenches all the girls thirst.
