Introduction
Acting is an art, but it is very difficult. Actors can struggle with a lot of things most people think that what actor’s do is easy but its not. Actors get up early in the morning and some actors work late at night. Actors have to concentrate and they have to be strong and smart.
Actors perform in TV shows, plays, and movies. Out of all those, movie actors are probably the best paid. For some people acting is difficult, but for others it is a breeze.

Work schedule
Actors may work any time and any day. Some actors even work on holidays! Actors can work anywhere, outside or inside. Actors travel a lot especially if they are one of the few successful ones.

Specific kinds or categories
New actors will normally get stage fright or can’t remember lines.

Tools used, materials
Actors use things called props( like watches or telescopes.) To make the story believable actors have multiple props that look the same. Like in Jurassic Park 3 they have three stunt planes, one to fly, one to be in the tree, and one to roll.

What is good about the job
Acting is fun and rewarding. It is fun because you get to pretend to be someone you are not. It is rewarding in two ways: money and seeing people enjoy your work.

Not so good aspects
Actors can get frustrated when they can’t remember lines, have to get up early in the morning, drop their props, or lose their script. Probably the worst part is not getting a part you auditioned for.

Schooling, training, subjects to study in high school/college
To be a good actor you need to go to college, and study drama. To be an actor and director you need to study English, and take drama or dance.

Personal skills needed
Actors must be artistic and always have creative ideas most actors should be able to sing and dance. Actors have to be willing to take chances and try new things.

What 5th 7th grade classes will help you succeed in being an actor
It would help to take reading, writing, and English classes. Drama classes are also a big thing to take in order to be an actor. Learning music in band, chores, or private lessons would be useful.

Earnings range
For most actors the highest salary range is $1,040 a week. The lowest is $400 to $625 a week. Although some stars make many million dollars a year.

Outlook for the future
It seems that acting will grow faster by 2006. There are many reasons for this prediction.

History of acting
Acting started in ancient Greece. It was gust stores until someone diced to do hand motions and moves with the story. Than after that acting became very popular.

arelated jobs
Writing is similar to acting, because you need to think like the person and feel them.

How to get the job
You can learn to act in a high school by trying for a part in a play.

Where the job can lead
Acting can lead to fame and glory or being a waiter for a part time job.

Best web sites
There are many different web sites like www.acting.com.

Other unusual facts
Making five minutes of film can take hours! A whole movie can take years to make. It takes so long because you have to edit. To edit means to delete the parts in the movie you don’t want.

Who I Interviewed And What I Learned

On October 24th I interviewed Josh Hogens at a film studio in Yakima. Josh is in his20'ss. Josh told me all of the actors clothes come from good will. Some actors help make scenery for movies. Josh acts, directs, and writes scripts. Out of all those he said acting was his favorite to do. "Acting makes me feel like I am someone else "says Josh. Mostly the actors use the same props but some times they buy new ones. Josh said that some of the actors have trouble remembering lines. Unlike Addy whoad-libss. Ad-libbing is when someone is told the basics of a scene and makes up there own lines. If actors get stage fright they play the libbling game like on who’s line is it anyway. Josh says that acting and directing can be hard. If Josh is not shopping at Good Will, Liz (an actress) will make costumes. Josh says to make a scene it takes an hour and a half, to edit three minutes than what you have left for the show is probably ten minutes. Josh says: "If you really want to be an actor than stick too it and don’t give up."
