have to first, find a house plan that they enjoy. Second, they have to
buy land that fits the needs of the house. Next, they have to lay down
the foundation of the house. Then, they can finally start building the
new home. It takes a long time to build even one house. Then, when they
finish, someone called an inspector comes to check and make sure that the
house is safe to live in. Finally, they can sell the house and a long,
hard cleaning begins. Then, the newly built house is sold.
What is their work schedule? The work schedule for carpenters is really just up to them. Some work at night and some work at day. Some once a week. Some seven days a week. So, it’s really up to them or their employer.

What is expected out of construction workers? Carpenters need to be good at math and learn fast. They also have to be good with electronics and be pretty smart. They have to learn what the names of specific nails and pieces of wood are called, and what certain symbols on house plans mean. Math is most important. Why? Because measurements and calculations are needed daily.
